I need to start taking notes when I do this class work.
I used a front called, Lavanderia, from Lost Type Co-op for the cursive letters.
For the other letters I, believed I used Constantia, from computer. For the large M and L used a separate text box and converted those to a path, used the direct selection tool to move the bottom most points of the letters down.
I tried a few glow filters, but that’s not really me. I’m more of a bevel, emboss, letterpress kind of a gal. So, I used the raid emboss filter. I did not use a filter because they did not make a huge difference on my image and I liked it better plain.

And I went with purple!
For more color inspirtation lay your eyes on The Perfect Palette. This is one of my favorite applications of color, parties!.
The color plaetts of my life right now are:
Gray, white and stainless steal with yellow accents because we are just finishing a kitchen remodel and that’s what I picked.
Dark plum, white and off white because those are the colors of my friends wedding that I’m forcing my way into helping with.
Yellow and pink because my cousin is having a baby girl and I’m in charge of the baby shower. Pink Lemonade.
Black and white. It was passed down to by my Grandma as a crisp, clean, classis, trendy and favorite color palette , suitable for any occasion. And, like my Grandma, will always hold a special place in my heart.
Now for something that means something, my grade: After watching the presenter files that were provided for us I decided that I wanted to go with purple for the main color for today’s exercise because it was started that purple is the least used color and I feel like making trouble this evening.

I don’t tend to like dark, or very saturated color, so I tired to force myself out of my comfort zone. Normally I would have done a light gray and white background, a very, very, light almost whit- lavender background for the text and dark gray, text, for everything. But, I did none of that. I chose a pattern for my background then chose a lovely shade of purple. From there, I thought a deeper, more saturated purple would be nice so I picked one of those. Copy pasted the color code into the boxes for different text and move the selection tool up for lighter, less saturated shades of the color. I went with some white heading because I love white I could not help myself. Chose a dark gray footer because I think it had nice contrast to the purple above it and then was able to bring my purple theme into the footer as a text color because there is enough contrast between the light purple and the dark gray for the test to stand out and be read. I did not change my ‘header’ image to match because I have a lot to do tonight and think we will be changing the blogs again, so, I’m sorry that piece of it looks completely out of place, it is.
